On the 14th December at the Automobile Distributors' Club (CDA), J2R, a monthly news bulletin for automobile aftermarket and network professionals, presented Thierry Talbot, President of UDIAD (Union of Independent Distributors in the Autodistribution) with the "Group Distributor" award.
The "Group Distributor" award recognises excellence in sales and operational performance, the implementation of ongoing investment, initiative in the field and the recipient's entrepreneurial spirit. Presented by Olivier Roux, President of the supervisory board of the Autodistribution Group - the French and European leader in the field of independent distribution of spare parts for cars and heavy goods vehicles - this award recognises Thierry Talbot's commitment to the Group over a career spanning more than 20 years, as well as the role he has played in its development. "Thierry Talbot is a dynamic, long-time partner and a key player in our Group's operations. Independents really are at the heart of the action", explains Olivier Roux.
Thierry Talbot has always worked for Independent Distributors, with a commitment to developing and conquering the market while ensuring a common, coordinated approach towards the contractor. His hands-on style allows him to build close relationships with customers while retaining a strong sense of attachment to his 130 staff. His commitment led him to join the Autodistribution Group's steering committee, where he is a key decision-maker on strategic issues which aim to place distributors and subsidiaries on an equal footing.
