November 2011

The Autodistribution Group, the French and European leader in the independent distribution of spare parts for cars and heavy goods vehicles, has launched the Qualicert certification procedure in its AD HGV network. The aim: to offer all its customers a standard service quality in all AD HGV centres and thus to consolidate the network's position as the market leader.

Qualicert: the winning service in the AD HGV centres

Qualicert is a third-party services certification based on a trade referential developed jointly by the AD HGV experts and SGS ICS which is recognised by the profession and the customers alike. Deployed in the 126 AD HGV centres, the certification applies to both business and workshop activities and is reflected in specific commitments which can be measured directly by customers. Through the renown of a recognised label, AD HGV is committed to a relationship of trust with its customers. Furthermore, acknowledged by COFRAC (French Accreditation Committee), it offers legitimacy in relation to the market. Qualicert reflects the desire of the AD HGV network to adopt a service quality approach aimed at improving its performance through the standardisation of the network. At present, almost 50% of the sites are certified. The target is 100% by June 2013.

A federating project

A veritable challenge for the teams, the services certification requires the total involvement of the employees in the AD HGV centres. The aim is to federate the employees around a corporate project which recognises their know-how. In addition to the notoriety of the network, the aim of the certification is to federate the teams around a common meaningful project.

One certification, several commitments

Qualicert is a unique tool aimed at improving the services offered to customers with regard to both business activities and the 5 reference technical services (oil change, braking, preparation for the roadworthiness test, lighting/signalling and suspension). In addition to the core professional commitments, it also ensures the upgrade and standardisation of customer reception, safety and environmental policy and the skills development of the personnel in the AD HGV network. Qualicert means 30 daily commitments in each AD HGV centre founded on 10 core commitments corresponding to the expectations of the market. Finally, the Qualicert referential is not set in stone - it can evolve to satisfy customer demand and the improved performance of the network in terms of increasingly technical services.
