Arcueil, 1st June 2010

The Autodistribution Group, the French and European leader in the independent distribution of car and HGV spare parts, is taking a pragmatic view to their development policy.

Olivier Roux, Chairman of the Autodistribution Group, had announced: "AD's development will naturally involve its subsidiaries, but will also progress via closer collaboration with Independent Distributors. Our selection criteria is no longer to systematically favour the "all in one package", we select the most appropriate solution in order to secure the business to the greatest extent possible and to strengthen the position of the AD in the region".
Its this pragmatic approach that enables the Autodistribution Group to today announce that an agreement on the handover of one of the subsidiaries of the Group, FIA LITTORAL, has been signed with Bernard Farsy (Chairman of AD Farsy, Independent AD Distributor in the South-East). This agreement allows Autodistribution to ensure FIA LITTORAL has a long future ahead.

In practice, a structure grouping together Autodistribution and a company headed by Bernard Farsy has been created to take over the business of FIA LITTORAL. This new entity called NEOPARTS FIA LITTORAL will oversee the destiny of this new independent AD Distributor.

"It is with great enthusiasm, but also with an awareness of the responsibilities placed upon me, that I am preparing to take up this new challenge" said Bernard Farsy. "I found that the Management at Autodistribution had a genuine willingness to make a win-win agreement for our respective businesses as well as for the partners of FIA LITTORAL. The latter have in fact welcomed this new organisation with enthusiasm".

"Bernard Farsy is a long-standing, dynamic partner, and a veritable part of the life of our Group. Our mission as network leader is to support our members in their desire to develop. This agreement allows us to fulfil this mission fully" explains Olivier Roux. "At the same time, we are continuing to develop the commercial weight of our subsidiaries by ensuring the integration of partners. Incidentally, we have just acquired Ets Arnaudies, right in the heart of the South-West AD Group (GADSO). Our policy can be summed up this way: judicious choices and the right balance! " stated Olivier Roux.
