The Autodistribution Group, the French and European leader in the independent distribution of car and heavy goods vehicle parts, has announced the acquisition of Ets Arnaudies, a company from the Ariege department in France that specialises in trading replacement parts and industrial supplies.
Founded in 1948 by Edmond Arnaudies and member of the Autodistribution Group since 1997, Ets Arnaudies currently has a staff of 42, on 2 sites (Pamiers, the headquarters, and Foix) and an annual turnover of 6 million euros. Specialising in the distribution of car, heavy goods vehicle and FI parts, the company also has workshops for precise operations on starter-alternators, injector pumps, hydraulic hoses and air conditioning. 70% of its customers are professional (MRA, coachworks, transporters ...), while the rest of their trade comes from cash sales to private customers.
Taken over in 1996 by Pierre Musset, Ets Arnaudies will now come under the GADSO banner (the South-West AD Group), one of the subsidiaries of the Autodistribution Group. "I wanted to sell my company to provide the employees with long term job security and it seemed obvious that the answer was to approach my long-standing business partner Autodistribution, that I had chosen back in 1996 for their dynamism and range" explains Pierre Musset. "Autodistribution, the European market leader, will be able to provide both staff and customers with reassurance in terms of the bright future ahead for the Arnaudies business" he concluded. Incidentally, it is a native of Ariege who is well known to the company that has been appointed as CEO: Laurent Arnaudies. The grandson of the founder, Laurent was previously the Manager of the Foix site.
