Arcueil, April 2010
The Autodistribution Group, the French and European leader in the independent distribution of car and heavy goods vehicle parts, is strengthening its position as "Roadholding Specialist" through the development of its "Tyres & Services" concept. Superior expertise with three skills areas: tyres, brakes, shock absorbers/steering/suspension and sales support tools for repairers.
Roadholding = sales potential
Tyres have been a priority for the Autodistribution Group and its customers for the last decade or so. An illustration of this is the "Tyres & Services" concept, launched in 2006, enabling repairers to position themselves as tyre specialists while optimising their turnover and market share. In fact, one in every three faults processed by the Technical Department relates to abnormal tyre wear and, more generally, 70% of faults concern roadholding (TRW study, March 2009). Roadholding is a market share in its own right, and thus represents genuine sales potential for Autodistribution. Centre Director Christian Amirault explains: 'Worn tyres is the second most common reason for visiting the workshop. In light of this statistic, the Autodistribution Group is committed to developing its expertise even further by offering new services with the aim of generating traffic in the workshops and encouraging customer loyalty'.
In 2010, the Autodistribution Group is positioning itself firmly as the "Roadholding Specialist" and aiming to offer repairers ever more efficient and productive services.
"Roadholding Specialist": three levels of expertise
The Autodistribution Group is confirming its position as the "Roadholding Specialist" via three complementary areas of expertise: tyres, brakes and the shock absorbers/steering/suspension family. A comprehensive and efficient specialist area, offering repairer benefits through competitive purchase conditions, a service tailored to their needs and an offering featuring the most effective products on the market.The Autodistribution Group is offering repairers the benefits of special purchase conditions, negotiating rates for them while offering additional deals throughout the year.They can also take advantage of a service tailored to their needs thanks to the market's leading diagnostic tool: Autossimo, as well as regularly updated technical and sales information.
The Aurora brand, which has been specially selected by the Autodistribution Group, offers a range of products that respond to the most stringent requirements and give the best value for money.
By positioning itself as the "Roadholding Specialist", and consistent with its role as a commercial partner, the Autodistribution Group is taking an innovative step and committing itself to offering repairers the chance to develop effectively on the roadholding market, along three distinct lines: tyres, brakes and shock absorbers/steering/suspension.
A panel of marketing tools available to customers
The Autodistribution Group is providing repairers with complete marketing packs to help them promote their expertise (merchandisers, POS totems, leaflets, banners, etc.) and a complete set of communication tools to advertise their position as "Roadholding Specialist", with recognised expertise in sales and tyre maintenance.
