On 23 September, the Autodistribution Group, the French and European leader in independent distribution of car and HGV spare parts, held the General Assembly of its AD PL network.
On the agenda: the fine performance of the network during 2008, the ongoing roll-out of its dedicated sites and finally the presentation of trophies awarded every year for exemplary performance and initiatives of the men and women who are the network's lifeblood.
The AD PL network has consolidated its position as the leading independent distribution network of IV (Industrial Vehicle) parts and services in France, showing in particular a 37% increase in Corporate Customers: This was a commendable result, which stabilised the HGV network's overall turnover for 2008. A partner of the major equipment manufacturers, the AD PL network provides tailored solutions to customers owning Industrial Vehicles, Light Utility Vehicles, public works machinery, coaches, buses and agricultural machinery, from the self-employed to big road transport groups.
Supported by the great expertise of the Autodistribution Group, the AD PL network is pulling out all the stops to optimise the use and profitability of its customers' vehicles. Personnel, workshops, spare parts, cutting edge technology, technical diagnostics, remote management… A genuine synergy of skills and tools for made-to-measure service.
126 outlets and 41 garages throughout the whole of France form the AD PL network. Today, the Autodistribution Group is reorganising this network by creating sites fully dedicated to heavy goods vehicles. This roll-out of centres dedicated to the profession, which is due to continue until June 2010, marks a genuine boost for skills and expertise of the network's repairers.
In its General Assembly, the AD PL network wanted to congratulate those who have contributed on a daily basis to this performance, through their expertise. Every year, the trophies are awarded for exemplary initiatives.
