THE AD INSTITUTE'S MILLENNIUM PROGRAM, FOR EVER GREATER PERFORMANCE


The Autodistribution Group, the French and European leader in independent distribution of car and HGV spare parts, is pursuing its commitment to re-empower the workshop technical professions. The cornerstone of this approach, the AD Institute, a training centre aimed at vehicle repairers whether or not they are Autodistribution network members, is working to maintain and develop skills. With the Millennium program, it offers a comprehensive training package which is relevant and tailored to the requirements of the repairers.

Aimed at all car repairers, the Autodistribution Group's Millennium program aims to facilitate the day-to-day work of garages, and help them cope with the increasing complexity of vehicle repairs. Millennium brings together 17 programs covering all the core skills that garage managers must possess. This great variety of programs relates in particular to motor vehicle maintenance and technology, and covers basic fields such as the fundamental principles of electricity, and more complex domains such as the diesel pump injection system. Diagnostic tools and procedures, air conditioning or even day-to-day workshop management are also covered.

While this training enables garage managers to increase their personal skills, it also gives them the option of introducing one of their mechanics to a new type of repair, a good way to get the best out of their staff. They can also refresh their basic (though very useful) knowledge, provide them with a skills boost or even take on fields not previously handled.

Hence the Millennium program offers a well-developed package combining both theory and practice. The training sessions last 1 to 2 days and are held at AD distributor premises.
