The Autodistribution Group, French and European leader in the independent distribution of car and HGV parts, is committed to the long-term reinforcement of vehicle repairers' expertise, whether or not they are members of their networks. The Group today offers a range of expanded services and technical support. An enhanced training catalogue Convinced that excellence in a profession is an integral part of training, the Autodistribution Group launched 'Millennium' in 2004, an ambitious program designed for all repairers. To date, 6700 people have already signed up to this program and 126 training modules have been offered. Faced with this success, the Autodistribution Group has supplemented its training portfolio by means of its dedicated centre, the AD institute, where the 'Millennium' modules now form an integral part. The AD institute and its Spanish partner EINA have offered new modules to vehicle repairers, for example on the themes of engines and new technologies. Furthermore this training, approved by ANFA (French national automobile training association), can be partially or totally subsidised. Diag 24 Assistance, a benchmark Hotline The Autodistribution Group also ensures that the network's technicians have access to a complete multi-brand assistance service: Diag 24 Assistance. From diagnostics to maintenance, this benchmark hotline has a large range of services on offer. Assistance, technical documents, training... The technical advisors, selected for their teaching skills, are available at any time for members looking for information. Diag 24 Assistance is a quality tool for maintaining and developing the expertise of the AD network repairers. Centre Technique Automobile, the implementation of expertise The CTA (automobile technical centre) is a repair workshop integrated into the distributor's premises and specialising in electronic components and all other operations of high added value. Thanks to its high level of technical expertise and the high performance of its diagnostic tools, the CTA assists and drives the AD network in the most technically complex situations. The Autodistribution Group implements audit procedures for each CTA to maintain an optimum level of technical expertise and to ensure the installation of new technical cards just like the running gear. Today, there are 55 CTA's around France. The Autodistribution Group wishes to strengthen this network coverage, with the goal of one centre per department by 2009. Rebuilding and diesel injection platforms, high in development potential Surfing on the rising wave of the CR pump/injector rebuilding market, the Autodistribution Group is betting on the quadrupling of the rebuilding market predicted over the next five years. The first objective: to produce a minimum of 1000 components per year and per centre, with 80% of these rebuilds concerning injectors and 20% pumps. The new installations will start to multiply until the objective of 95 platforms is reached by 2009. The AD Institute, a comprehensive training program The purpose of the AD Institute, a training centre for car distributors and repairers, is to bring the technical workshop professions back to the fore. Structured as a national centre dedicated to the teaching of trainers and in eight regional centres equipped for light vehicles and HGVs, the Institute offers several courses leading to the award of a diploma. The modules obviously include technical training, but also classes on management, marketing and sales techniques. There are 250 modules in total in the catalogue. By ensuring these courses are lead by its own trainers, the Autodistribution Group is striving to ensure the AD Institute is a genuine benchmark in terms of training. Autossimo and Truckissimo: leading repair portals on the market With Autossimo and Truckissimo, the Autodistribution Group offers its distributor, car repairer, car centre and even dealership customers (for repairing vehicles of makes other than their own), the most comprehensive tools on the market. They are specially designed to meet the needs of professionals in terms of technical information, repair methods, parts identification, fault finding, repair pricing, etc. These tools are easily accessible thanks to a simple internet connection and from now on will form an integral part of the activities of repairers. By making significant developments to its Technical and Training programme, the Autodistribution Group is on course for excellence.
