The Autodistribution Group, French and European leader in the independent distribution of car and HGV parts, is known for its dynamism and creativity. Once again, AD is a trailblazer, as the company has decided to install within its network an innovative multimedia communication system: ADTV.

The Autodistribution Group, French and European leader in the independent distribution of car and HGV parts, is known for its dynamism and creativity. Once again, AD is a trailblazer, as the company has decided to install within its network an innovative multimedia communication system: ADTV.

The first screens have been implemented with success in over one hundred of the Group's vehicle repair garages in order to support the multi-make sales of new vehicles. Thanks to ADTV, the repairers can inform their customers of their services, offers, their multi-make new vehicle sales activities and their financing solutions. This service, which is part of the "multi-make point of sales" program (PVM) offered by the Swiss company Delta, has allowed garages from the Automobile centre of AD to diversify their strategy for after-sales and to gain parts of the market in a field that is highly competitive. Following on from repairers, it is now the turn of the AD distributors and AD HGV centres to be equipped with this multimedia communications system. "We will be offering these two networks a modern and dynamic communication tool that meets the requirements of modern marketing in terms of responsiveness and effectiveness. Gone are the constraints of traditional point-of-purchase advertising, we will henceforth be able to supply all the technical and commercial information they need on a daily basis, at minimal cost and in real time" explains Amar Cheballah, Technical and Marketing Director of the Autodistribution Group. During opening times, ADTV will broadcast content designed for customers and prospective customers at the sales points. On the agenda: product and promotional information "In less than 48 hours, our purchasing department will be able to relay all promotional stock clearance operations regularly carried out by our suppliers to all our members and their customers" indicates Amar Cheballah. Nearly 500 sales points will be equipped for an audience of over 6 million people (staff and professional customers). The Autodistribution Group is working to supply its affiliates with tools and services with high added value. ADTV is a veritable extra asset for reaching customers and prospects on the sales floor" added Amar Cheballah. Once the sales points are closed, another programme starts, this time for the branch staff: internal communication, messages from management, notes from human resources, information relating to the evolution of legislation, further training, etc. The administration of the system is handled by the Swiss company Delta whose software application allows the operator great freedom, allowing them to personalise the content of the video loop and select, depending on the content, to broadcast on all or a selection of the deployed screens. Implementation of ADTV with the AD distributors and with the HGV AD centres is expected for November. A tremendous communication platform for AD, its members, suppliers and commercial partners, this modern tool further bolsters the innovative image of the Autodistribution Group.
